This is definitely more TV than film, but she was an icon of early TV. Joyce Randolph, who was the second actress to play Trixie on The Honeymooners, passed away.

RIP. Moonstuck, A Soldier's Story, Fiddler on the Roof, In Country, The Cincinnati Kid, and In the Heat of the Night are all extraordinarily good films, and The Thrill of It All, The Art of Love, and The Thomas Crown Affair are great fun

Yes, I am sad to add to the reported news that Norman Jewison has died. I worked for him on quite a few films and he was a master craftsman. And a boy from the Toronto Beach.

For some reason, I thought he'd already died. He had a long and successful career directing many different kinds of films. Oddly, it was Doris Day who was instrumental in jump starting his career. She had director approval and ok'd him directing The Thrill of it All, only his second film and also directed her in Send Me No Flowers the next year.
