Being a skinny kid (four-eyes) was not easy.
I read the comic strip Rex Morgan M.D.
It is like a soap opera and moves along slowly.
A school student is being bullied by a kid who's dad appears to be a drunk.
The kid being bullied is non-binary.
I have no clue what that really means, but I don't wish to fear it.
People fear what they don't understand.
Funny how people drive automobiles without a clue as to how they work.
I found Richard Simmons entertaining. Complex but entertaining.

RIP to a great Chicago icon. I am glad he got to see his beloved Cubs finally win it all.

I was actually just about to post about Bob's passing. He will be greatly missed as he was one of TV's best comics.

Just heard about this. The Bob Newhart was a great show, but I really, really liked Newhart. I frequently re-watch Newhart episodes and have DVD's of most seasons. No one could do it better.
Amazing that he never got an Emmy for any of his shows - got one for guest role on The Big Bang Theory.
I remember listening to his comedy albums when I was in college.

Underappreciated. That clip was from Judy Garland's short-lived variety show in the early 60s (ran one season on CBS). I watch that clip a few times a year. Thanks for posting.

There is another clip at YouTube that's not edited... I will look.
The boy upfront was fantastic and perfect for that song in his moment of TV fame! I love his hair flopping around!
SHIRLEY ELLIS who also gave us "The Name Game"

I read at Wikipedia that "the boy" BOBBY BANAS choreographed the dance himself. He is mesmerizing! I was hooked on that clip a couple of years ago...

I first saw it 10 or 15 years ago. One of the diginets on over-the-air TV (getTV, I think) used to show rarely seen (these days) variety shows from the 60s, a different one each night. Judy Garland's was one of them. I watched her show every week as it was the first time it had been seen in decades. I later found clips on YouTube.
