Hello MelWalton, nice to speak to you again.

I enjoy movie trivia and would like to see this trivia forum back up on it's legs. Thanks for trying. I'll help where I can.

As for your question, I vaguely remember hearing it somewhere, but can't remember the movie. It sounds like something Groucho Marx would have said, or even Popeye.

I'll be back shortly to post a question when I think of a good one.

Regards

Mel, this one is tougher than you think. I'm always bad at lines from films.

However, let's see . . . . . Is the Mrs. Ruggles in question a character, or are you referring to singer Adele Rowland (Mrs. Charles Ruggles)?

Judy, Charlie, Nancy,
Sorry, I goofed. I named the actors instead of the charactors and failed. to specify such.
The actor's birth name was Lewis Offield.
The actress had several married names but at the time had accumulated only one, Mrs. Wesley Ruggles. .... mel

Well, it's Jack Oakie to Arline Judge, but I have no idea which of the 4 movies they made together it came from. If I had to guess, I'd say it was "King of Burlesque".

Here's an easy one - to keep the ball rolling:

"Whatta'ya want me to do? Draw you a picture? Don't ever ask me about it again!"

Very famous movie, very famous speaker, well known actors being told.

(Hopefully, I got it verbatim... if not it's pretty darn close.)

Is it Irene Dunne in The Awful Truth? I sometimes have trouble with quotes like this - the tone is familiar, but I'm not sure if I've even seen the film. :?
