'Showgirls' (and don't worry Kay...I'll now resist the urge to add that "duh" thing that laffite sometimes adds to his responses!) ;) LOL

Oh come on, I can think of a few movies with Las Vegas showgirls without taking the easy way out. using a film title. Never cared for that kind of answer.

I know I know, Kay, but because after this one sitting unanswered for over a day now, AND because after thinking this one over for almost ten minutes and then only coming up with the film 'Casino' and which I wasn't sure if it had Vegas showgirls in it, although it probably did, in desperation and in order to get this ball rolling again, I decided to just say 'Showgirls' here.

And besides, I thought using that response which then facilitated that little shot at our friend laffite was pretty darn CLEVER!!! LOL

(...so then, what other movies featuring Vegas showgirls did YOU think of when you posted that...over a day ago now?) ;)

“Love is a Funny Thing” has Las Vegas showgirls in it.

There is an extended scene of Jean Paul Belmondo and this woman at a nightclub in Vegas watching a topless show which adds nothing at all to the plot. The movie is on TCM on demand so watch for yourself.

Viva Las Vegas, Honeymoon in Vegas, Ocean's 11, Imitation of Life to name a few.
Do not use me to make a point to Lafitte. His duh remark to you was uncalled for, so why take it out on me?

My intent wasn't to "take it out on you" here, Kay.

Sorry you felt it was, but I DID have a feeling you might take it that way as I entered that.

(...but HEY, you know ME...the possibility of someone misconstruing something I've said has never stopped me BEFORE from layin' it all out there, ya know!!!) ;) LOL

Actually, friend Dargo, the other day was the first time I have done a "duh" since I do not feel myself presumptuous to that sort of thing, dissing someone else's clue. Yeah, I know that sounds like a howler coming from me /but my usual nuisance complaints have to do with something entirely else, like the one you have have currently over on the "first actor or to come to mind" something smacking of obscurity, something about British sitcoms or whatever, that has been languishing some going on 18 hours now. :) But I am jesting now, truly I am, I sort of concur, Kay, with you about the type of answer you thought was kind of iffy, and making me think of the worst offender, none other than the other guy over in that other place. he was the worst. He pounced on answers like that as if he was some kind of brainaic or sumpin'.

Yeah, gotta admit when I said "you sometimes do that", that one earlier instance really was the only time I remember you ever doing that.

Yeah, but five'll getcha ten SWITHIN would have an answer for that one, anyway! ;)

Yeah, I knew this, and the very reason you've always been one of favorite people around here and know that kiddin' you will always be met in the spirit of its intent, ol' friend.

How To Murder Your Wife -
( if you know the film then you know there's no criminal plot and Jack's character's plot definitely goes awry )

( Virna Lisi is so beautiful in this film )
