The villain, running from the cops, takes refuge in the back of a garbage truck. The truck driver, up front, turns on the apparatus. The villain is crushed. The cops approach the truck. One of them says:
"He died a fitting death, like the garbage he was."
Hint: Think of a character's name in The (otherwise unrelated) Ten Commandments.
So, would this character's name be the same as in ANOTHER otherwise totally unrelated movie where it's said he supposes his toes are roses???
Well, this WOULD help narrow the name down here a bit, now wouldn't IT?! LOL
(...btw here Swithin, for some reason I'm envisioning a movie starring Steve Cochran...am I on the right track here?)

Well, no. Think the enemy of the Ten Commandments character you're thinking of. The film I'm going for is a landmark horror film from the 1960s.

LOL...is this Blood Feast (1963)?
Wow! Have never even heard of "Blood Feast", but according to this movie's Wiki plot synopsis, it appears you have, Lawrence.
As you could probably tell, I was thinking Swithin's flick was a noir and not in the horror genre.

Yes it is Lawrence, and your prize is a ticket to an Egyptian Feast, prepared by Mr. Fuad Ramses.

"They're out to get you...erm...Lawrence!"
Night of the Living Dead ?
That's the one! Your thread, Daurgou
Thanks.
At the end it's suggested by one of the characters that the strange events their small group of individuals had just gone through could have had two different reasons or causes for happening.
