Circus World

One western that I would like to see released on dvd is "Circus World" with John Wayne. i have the vhs copy and I always liked it, but i sure would like to have a dvd copy, with other features. anyone know anything about why this has not been released on dvd? Thanks, theodora

It was out at one time because I rented it from Netflix. It doesn't seem to be available anymore so maybe they've pulled it back or just the contract was up. Who knows?

I don't share your affection for it but if anyone is a John Wayne fan they ought to see it just to get through them all.

You can get CIRCUS WORLD DVD now at Amazon.com - I've don't have a copy of this movie yet, but its good.
Its for all John Wayne and Rita Hayworth fans out there. I have a friend who does ... its well made.

Have I been unconscious until now? I don't recall ever hearing about John Wayne and a circus movie, other than Hatari where he and his team captured large animals for zoos, but that had nothing to do with a circus. Who is the actual co-star? Is it Claudia Cardinale or Hayworth? I hope it was Claudia. I'll have to look around and try to find a copy of it.
