Now that you mention it, I does look like a backscratcher. He is scratching his chin thoughfully and saying "Hmmmmm."vallo wrote:I thought it was a "Hand Shaped" back scratcher.

Either way, it's a rather odd arrangement. Shouldn't they be looking at a screen, and not back at us? Are we talking too loudly? Sorry.

They're on the screen, and they've broken the fourth wall a lá Bob-and-Bing in a Road picture. Actually, isn't this the way that Fancy Pants closes? Bob Hope and Jane Russell (she, in her costume from The Paleface) walking into the horizon, and then they turn to gaze at the audience with a wisecrack just before "The End" appears on the screen?Shouldn't they be looking at a screen, and not back at us?

I discovered our "couple's" bio...
He is Dr. William "Bill" Williams-plastic surgeon. She is Barbara "Barb" Williams- wife, model, Garden Club president and gossip columnist for The Long Island Ledger.
Barb lost her hand in a Macy's revolving door accident. Later that night, Barb's best friend, Rhoda Camel-tobacco heiress and possessor of the world's largest Sara Coventry collection, fell to her death from the balcony of her high rise apartment in Manhattan-over-looking Central Park.
Ironically, Rhoda left her hand and her jewelry collection to Barb.
More irony-Rhoda was a southpaw...
