Agnes is sensationally neurotic in this! Outside of Orson Welles, it's probably her finest hour.

That's hilarious about Lily and Lee Tracy! They do have their preferences.

I got some mighty good dog snuggling last night. I must have done something right!

I've enjoyed doing community theatre for the last 8 weeks. But I know a little dog who's glad it's over. She wants "Her Person" home at night!

Sugar doesn't like New Year's Eve. Fireworks! She REALLY hates The 4th of July! Wednesday, she heard a few pops. Her eyes became wide. She got nervous. But instead of hiding under the couch, she got right up against me and curled up into a ball! Snuggling is more powerful than fear. We should all remember that.

My dog in my youth did the same thing - he hates fireworks and get very nervous and cuddle with anyone with the family and his body was vibrating a million miles an hour fearing the noise from those merry makers that everyone gets on the 4th and New Year Eve. So, playing smart and when 4th of July rolls around we sometimes put him into a kennel away from noise and all that and he doesn't like going to the kennel. So we tried our best to keep him safe and sound during these holidays. I completely agree with you RedRiver - our beloved pets should be taken care of during the noise making holidays that we are prone to celebrate without thinking about pets.

Thanks for reminding us about this.

I've come to dislike noisy reveling for this reason. If it upsets my dog, it's not for me! And people don't restrict it to the holiday. It goes on for two weeks.
