Can't very well leave the others out.

Ringo: "It Don't Come Easy."

George: "When We Was Fab."

Paul: "Mary Had A Little Lamb."

Who else could have turned (or been crazy enough to try)a nursery rhyme into a major hit?

13th Floor Elevators "You're Gonna Miss Me"

The Seeds "Pushin' Too Hard"

Music Machine "Talk Talk"

Hey Kids!

Your funky Uncle Klondike here with a quick jot of turntable/movie trivia:

Chris just spun a quasi-hip Ringo Starr single for us, from his solo album "Goodnight Vienna" . . . but who here at Dewey's Hideaway recalls which classic movie Ringo spoofed for the original LP sleeve?

Uncle Klondike asked: "who here at Dewey's Hideaway recalls which classic movie Ringo spoofed for the original LP sleeve?"

Could it be THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, Uncle K?

Here's another little taste of the Ring Man...

Klaatu barada nikto + ringo = Ooh-poo-pah-doo ("Take Me To Your Leader, Daddy-O")

'Twas "The Day THe Earth Stood Still." I bought it new in 1974, on an
8-Track.

(Completely missed the fact that Dewey already answered it. Sorry.)

Obviously, Chris, this ain't your "first rodeo" or DJ Dewey's, either!
So I guess I ain't nearly as clever as I think I am; thanks for agreeing with the Missus, she's preferred to be right about that on a daily basis for nearly 3 decades now.

Next time I'm tempted to throw out a trivia challenge anywhere, I'll post it in Gaelic!
