Hope you all will have a great Valentine's Day with loved ones - spouses, friends, single or not. Have a great day! If you get a chance to read my blog, perhaps you can add to the list of classic film romances. I'm a couple of love stories shy of fifty shades of grey...

Going to see Casablanca on the big screen at BFI Southbank London this afternoon!
And just to get in the mood there was a real dense London fog this morning.
Here's looking at you, kid.

And coincidentally, my wife's Valentine's Day card to me today read:
(on the cover, and with the image of two bears snuggled up on a coach while watching an old romantic movie on TV)
"For My Husband...A kiss is just a kiss. A sigh is just a sigh...
(and on the inside, and with an the image of these same two bears snuggled up in bed asleep with the caption "Zzzzzz" floating above their heads)
...but a good loud snore means we're happily married. Happy Vantentine's Day."
(...good one, huh)

Happy Valentine's Day from Valentine Dyall!
Valentine Dyall is one of my favorite actors! I love his rich, mellifluous, baritone voice, which thrilled and chilled British radio listeners who knew him as "The Man in Black."

Happy Valentine's Day from Valentine Dyall!
I saw Valentine Dyall on stage in 1975 in Joe Orton's madcap play, What the Butler Saw. Dyall was magnificent, and hilarious, as Dr. Rance, the crazy psychiatrist.
Valentine Dyall, Betty Marsden, Jane Carr in What the Butler Saw, Royal Court Theatre, 1975. Directed by Lindsay Anderson.
