Humorous Memes
Re: Humorous Memes
And now for why that one-year substitute (during the pandemic, as I recall) Easter Bunny from Brooklyn didn't quite work out...

Re: Humorous Memes
My understanding has always been that links to sites and posting videos were considered non grata, but that gifs were and are permissible but not encouraged.
(...is that about right, Masha?)
Re: Humorous Memes
They are most welcome because they provide instant gratification while not taking a user to a site which will leech data and/or invade personal space.

Re: Humorous Memes
While I still don't agree with the netiquette concept, I do what Masha requests.
Most of my family will not open e-cards from me for the above reason.
I find animated GIFS annoying, especially when they have an obvious beginning and end, and jerky repeat.
The one from Dargo seems continuous.
A booger could be embedded in a GIF as well.
While people don't trust Google and how they constantly follow you around, I find Microsoft on the Internet is even worse.
As for the Bob Newhart quote, I love Classic Country Music. Maybe that's why I have trouble with posts from Masha, even after I look up the words I don't know. Brings back found memories of CaveGirl.
I would be offended if it wasn't Bob Newhart.
In response though: 10-4 Good Buddy. Break 1-9.
(Lets put some boots on it for some more juice)
Had enough?

Re: Humorous Memes
That's right, blame dear, sweet, innocent, lovable Masha.
Perhaps both of you grew up with the Dr. Demento Show.
I'm sure you remember, "Dead Puppies (Aren't Much Fun)."
"Making Love In A Subaru?"
I could go on but Happy Easter!
TCM should be showing Harvey today.

Re: Humorous Memes
Oh yes. My favorite of Dr. Demento's little ditties he'd play was always the 1947 L.A.-centric novelty song "Pico and Sepulveda". Although, I kind'a doubt that Masha would be familiar with his old radio show.jimimac71 wrote: ↑March 31st, 2024, 5:02 pm That's right, blame dear, sweet, innocent, lovable Masha.
