Favorite Five Factors:why should it stop at ten?
One polite way of saying no, followed by two attempts at swaying logic, a good cop bad cop routine, and finally the brutal hammer:"Because I say so." You'd think I asked to stay out all night for the Prom.ChiO wrote:Favorite Five Factors:why should it stop at ten?
1. A short, arbitrary limit makes one pause, think, and not list every movie one happens to like.
2. It encourages discussion because shorter lists promote diversity.
3. It saves space and makes the list readable.
4. Top Ten is alliterative. Okay, so are Top Two, Top Three, Top Twelve, Top Thirteen, all the Top Twenty+ & Thirty+, and Top Thousand. But see Nos. 1-3.
5. Because.
Your Honor, I rest my case.
