I enjoyed them very much, Red, they are brisk and have tons of charm. Lots of character actors doing their thing. This is as breezy as Walter Pidgeon ever got. Plus Jacques Tourneur directing, which makes each episode a journey into darkness and back. Loved all three they played yesterday!

Holy doo-doo! Jacques Tourneur? I love him. How many of the three were by him? Walter Pidgeon plays Nick Carter? I am completely uninformed on this subject!

Two earlier ones were Tourneur, and you could tell, but all three were entertaining.

On another thread, a film called YOU CAN'T GET AWAY WITH MURDER was mentioned. An early Bogart thriller, I believe. I haven't seen it, but it sounds ripe for this category!
