It was mentioned earlier how surprising it is for some to discover actors were older than thought, such as Dana Andrews and Richard Conte - and I think Richard Carlson is yet another. Jeff Morrow is definitely another one of that group, and the oldest among them. Could never imagine that he was born in 1907. Very vibrant actor during the 1950s.

Hey, Stone, you must be in your glory today as George Raft rolls on TCM all day long.
I'm watching "Manpower" right now as it is one of my favorites. Looking forward to "Johnny Angel".

I think this is one of the best photos I've ever seen of George Raft.

I did know Charles Boyer was a suicide, I should have said that he was very much affected by his smoking lifestlye and it was whilst he was having a check up on his health that his wife Pat was also checked out and discovered to have cancer. I'm not sure his health was such that he would have lasted too much longer anyway.

I guess what I was trying to say was that some didn't seem to feel the effects at all or until late in life whereas others went way before their time.
