Johnny Crawford was...and Billy Gray.
I understand. Tough to quarrel with those two (though Betty did far more for me than Bud in certain respects, if you know what I mean. Now, Rusty Hamer was my hero with a mouth.). What about the hunky Johnny Washbrook, with whom one got Gene Evans and the ever-hunky...Frank Ferguson?

I liked Johnny, but Flicka made my little six-year old heart pitter patter more than "Ken."

The ever-hunky...

I liked him in "Caught." Maybe my hunk-o-meter could use a tuning. Yeah...that's the ticket. :)

I'm surprised to see Leslie Parrish being that young at 78 today. I thought she would be in her mid 80's by now.

Here she is in Star Trek (above) back in the sixties ... She did a lot of television work in the 60's and the 70's as I recall seeing.

And, again in Batman (below) ... as a movie starlet by a name of Dawn Robbins ... of the Penguin played by Burgess Meredith is trying to kidnapped and being held for ransom.

She has one of the prettiest blue eyes that I ever saw on a blonde.

Hi Everyone,

Whenever I think of Macdonald Carey, I think of Hope Emerson and smile.

I wonder if any of you can guess the connection?
Put on your movie trivia caps and have some fun...

Larry

PS - actually, I'll take this over to a new thread, so as not to clutter up Joe's thread here....

Larry, does it have anything to do with the movie "Copper Canyon" in which they both co-starred?

Hi Joe,

Yes, you win the golden pop-corn kernel... This is a cheap contest!!!!

Hope really razed Mac on that film, as he was scruffy and wiskery - "Have a bath, shave your face, comb your hair, you lousy varmant!!"... I heard all this one day on the set, when I was visiting Hedy Lamarr..
I've told this story before - - at the premier, we were all sitting in the front row, but Hope took me back to the back row, as she didn't want to block the view of the audience.
We had popcorn and Smarties and coke and she was my first back-row date. We did kiss at the end of the movie... I never saw her again.
But, I did see Mac again at Paulette Goddard's home, with his wife. He and paulette were good friends from their Paramount days....
