Re: Favorite TV Shows
i have only seen a handful of the "one step beyond" shows, not enough to judge whether it's that great or not. i don't know if i believe the claim that they're all based on "true events", either, but they do have an undeniable creepiness to them.
i think "suspense theater" is a lot more satisfying, i hope you enjoy some of the episodes.

Re: Favorite TV Shows
Glad I stepped into this dustbin ( cough! ) and saw this thread. As soon as I started to hear the theme of "Suspense Theatre" I was able to hum it. How do these things get tucked into the little folds of our brains. And I've seen and enjoyed a bunch of "One Step Beyond" episodes. Unsettling. Dang, they don't even make theme songs like they used to.

Isn't it the truth! When was the last time you could hum a theme song to a show?

That's too bad, kingrat. We are Burn Notice fans here at the Favell household, but we missed the premiere of this season.

Re: Favorite TV Shows
I live in rerun land.
Too often I don't catch a show until it is years on. I think when I watched "NCIS" is in reruns and several years old. (Got burned out on it.) I don't know that I've watched anything in its regular slot since "Law and Order" went off the air.
I'm having loads of fun running through "Justified." I like the British "MI-5" but that show is ten years old.
I look through the imdb catalog for some of these people and wonder how I've missed all these shows all these years. I've not been unconscious but maybe out to lunch.

David,
I'm with you on the premiere of this season's Burn Notice. Last season was quite good and I want this, the final season, to be just as good.
Hopefully, they'll scrape the brawling/fighting and explosions for story. Heck, even the promo using the song, Mad World was better than the premiere.
Here's hoping....

Yes, Wendy. Sad to say.
Nancy, no the food was lousy. It always seems to be that way.
