I loved that photograph of Marlon Brando and Esther Williams - so wonderfully photogenic of both of them!

Frances Farmer had such beautiful and almost perfect features; even in those troubled times, she was still a beauty.

Enormous admirer of Millard Mitchell ever since watching him as Jimmy Stewart's pardner in WINCHESTER '73. Gave wonderful support in such classics as THE GUNFIGHTER and SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. But hard to look at that photo of him and realize he was only 40 when he passed (of lung cancer). Another of those performers of yesterday (like Paul Douglas) who looked so much older than their calendar years.

BTW Joe: Really missed your wonderful photographic postings during the site's "time out". First thing I check out when I visit the site each day. You really have some gems - and always nice birthday reminders.

This is the first time (Honest) I ever seen a picture of a young Audrey Hepburn with her hair so long ... I usually associated short hair with her. Very cool photo Joe.
