Thanks, Joe. I have never known his name, though Mr. Moore enlivened many movies in the '50s and--of course--Green Acres.

Moira, ironically TCM aired the movie "Susan Slept Here" on Moore's birthday. He costarred with
Dick Powell and Debbie Reynolds and he was good indeed.

Eli Wallach - Mr. Freeze
He was very good as Mr. Freeze - I find George Sanders version not my cup of tea and Otto Preminger was too crazy and Eli Wallach was just right for the part. Met him once and got his autograph - he was a kind and very friendly with his fans.

Re: CANDIDS II
Erik, I had forgot that Eli Wallach had played Mr. Freeze. I understand he's your favorite; for me, though, Otto Preminger was the one-and-only Mr. Freeze -- as Julie Newmar was the one-and-only Catwoman for me. Maybe I liked Preminger's craziness.
I'm glad you've enjoyed the AM photos. Yesterday was a big birthday for my gal -- 115. I hadn't planned to post quite so many, but those rehearsal photos dropped right into my lap yesterday afternoon. The library has had those prints for many years, but has only just made them available in their online digital collection. What a day to find them! [While I was there looking for photos of Alan Napier.]
Cheers.
