To put the quote at the bottom you would just have to position your cursor at the top above the original message, and type it here.

Lomm wrote: November 28th, 2022, 10:22 am Sure EP, will try to get this to work. I agree it's better, even though it's not considered "standard". Why should we have to go back and forth when viewing links?
Lomm,

I agree! And thank you!
Mr Millstone, can you help, you seem to have technical command in the site.

How to put that quote at the bottom.

And how to find the field where you explain the avatar?

thanks.
What do you mean explain the avatar? Do you mean how to add an avatar to your account?

"Mr. Millstone?"

Why so formal? What am I, a school principal?

To move a quote to the bottom of your message, select it, copy it, delete it, then paste it below the text in your message.

OR

First type your message, then place your mouse cursor below your message. Next, go to the message that you want to quote and click the Reply with quote button.

The quote will appear below your message.

If you mean the instructions regarding an avatar that I created for Thompson, here's the link.

I noticed that Lomm honored your request and added a whole lotta emoticons. Ain't we got fun!

The quote at the bottom is from their signature. To add one:

- Click on your username near the top of the page (under Ms. Loy's photo) and access the pull-down menu
- Select "User Control Panel"
- Click on the "Profile" tab
- Click on "Edit Signature" on the left-hand side
- Enter the text you want to have as part of your signature and then Submit (you'll have to scroll the page down a bit).

Greetings, System Administrators,

Is it possible to add size attributes to the img tag so that forum members can resize images and also add a title attribute so that text appears over an image when a mouse cursor hovers over the image (like a tool tip does on formatting buttons)?

Examples:

Code: Select all

[img=100x50]https://www.bbcode.org/images/lubeck_small.jpg[/img]
[img width="100" height="50" alt="Lubeck city gate" title="This is one of the medieval city gates of Lubeck"]https://www.bbcode.org/images/lubeck_small.jpg[/img]
See Posting images with BBCode.

I have The Silver Screen Oasis bookmarked in my Web browser.

Bookmark: index.php

This morning every time I clicked the bookmark, a sports Website appeared. When I refreshed the site, then the SSO appeared. Nefarious spammer infiltration?

I noticed that the SSO URL changed from index.php to https://www.silverscreenoasis.com/oasis3/.

Just an FYI and "Head's up!" to the system administrators!

See Posting images with BBCode.
I've played around with this but have not found a way to implement it on this board. Not every bbcode is supported by phpbb natively, and I have to add custom ones. This is not a problem, IF I can find a customized code that someone has created that I can add. However, I haven't been able to do so thus far. I'm about out of resources, however if you happen to come across it I'll be happy to add.

Thanks for your effort Lomm! If I find customized code for image resizing and adding metadata, I'll forward it to you.
