Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D

Post by markfp »

Took my 8 year-old grandson to see this today as I haven't seen a 3-D film in decades and he never had. The movie isn't anything to write home about, but the 3-D effects were impressive. He loved it.

The multiplex was showing it on two screens, one with 3-D and one without. I can't imagine why anyone would choose the non-3-D showing. I was surprised our show was almost full, but that could have been because all eight screens that were showing THE DARK KNIGHT were sold out so the folks that couldn't get in may have decided to see this instead since they were already there.

Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959) is one of the greatest movies ever made!
