Jean Rollin

Now Showing on Arrow-Player.com: Orchestrator of Storms: The Fantastique World of Jean Rollin

Although I'd never declare myself as a Jean Rollins fan, I've got a few of his outré flicks in my movie library. The one Jean Rollins delirium that I genuinely enjoy is La Rose de Fer (The Iron Rose) because, to me, its plot is more linear, easier to describe (a couple gets trapped in a cemetary), and less of a surreal fever dream than other Rollins' movies that I've seen.

I'd probably have to go with Grapes of Death as my favorite Rollin film, but I also enjoyed Fascination for it's imagery.

I've also seen:

Rape of the Vampire
The Nude Vampire
The Shiver of the Vampires
Requiem for a Vampire
The Iron Rose
Lips of Blood
The Night of the Hunted
The Living Dead Girl
Two Orphan Vampires
Dracula's Fiancée
Watching until the end.
