Maybe this is the same story offered on the Hallmark Channel? It has the same title, just not British-
Why not "Don't break my heart?" Why use "go"? Break is already a verb.
The syntax of that sentence always reminds me of the clunky two verb phrase heard in old movies, "Let's not talk about that now" instead of the more direct "Don't talk about that"
