I like wabbits, wascally or not. I see some in my backyard every once in a while, though it's
squirrels who really rule the roost.

Around 1981 I went to a screening and reception for the film Tales of Ordinary Madness. The director (Marco Ferreri) was there, as were some of the movie's stars, including Ben Gazzara and Susan Tyrrell. At one point in the reception, Susan said to me "Do you want to hang out with me?" She was obviously drunk or stoned -- possibly both. I declined.

Any mention of Bukowski at the screening or reception? Don’t know if it was toldSwithin wrote: ↑April 15th, 2023, 7:03 amAround 1981 I went to a screening and reception for the film Tales of Ordinary Madness. on the old board, but I met him, spent time with him, I was essentially ignored but privy to the action and conversation.

It’s a good idea, before you wind up on Skid Row, to obtain a copy of CB’s Erections, Ejaculations, Exhibitions, And General Tales Of Ordinary Madness. He was really in his prime with these stories, but more importantly, you might be left out in the cold, but you will be amused as all get out if you have this book in your bag.

I don't remember, I wasn't aware of him at the time; in fact I had forgotten that the film was based on his book. Bukowski sprung into my awareness when I saw the film Crazy Love in London in 1987.Thompson wrote: ↑April 15th, 2023, 2:36 pmAny mention of Bukowski at the screening or reception? Swithin, I remember Susan in FAT CITY. She looked kind of scary.
Hello all my bunny brethren. I find Bugs much more attractive than a lot of guys I used to go out with.
Can someone please explain Elliot Reid as a romantic lead??? My mind just boggles at this geeky, preppy, baby-faced nothing-burger who, in GENTLEMAN PREFER BLONDES and VICKI (remake of I WAKE UP SCREAMING) attracts the hormonal attentions of, respectively, Jane Russell and Jeanne Crain. It defies all logic.
