I really enjoy this song. Never knew who John was honoring with L.W. Also, is John trying to put a square peg into a round hole?

Sometimes how he plays gives me that feeling (e.g., inside \ outside improvisation) but in a good way since John pulls it off.

BEBEL GILBERTO Tanto Tempo

Bebel Gilberto is the daughter of João Gilberto, a primary influencer of the Bossa Nova movement in the late 50s and early 60s.

Bebel isn't related to Astrud Gilberto, known for The Girl of Ipanema, who was married to João Gilberto for a short time.

I've seen Bebel a few times in very intimate settings. Here is one of my favorite songs from her:
