Maria Ouspenskaya
Next: an actress who it seems somehow almost everyone thinks is beautiful and might even do makeup and/or perfume commercials because of it, BUT who YOU think is just rather odd looking (...and for anyone who might now suggest the name "Julia Roberts" here, I will now say that I COULDN'T agree MORE!!!) LOL

Not Julia Roberts?
I'm tempted to name Madonna - but then she's not thought of as beautiful by everyone - mostly just horndogs.
So I'll go with Jennifer Aniston
next: character actress you can't stand

Well, I don't know if I can say I "can't stand her", and although while I'm not sure if it's because she was always so good at playing haughty cold-hearted (rhymes with) "witches" OR because of that big ol' mole on her chin that I could never seem to stop concentrating on whenever I see her in some movie, but I can say I never cared all that much for Judith Anderson, anyway.
Next: your favorite actor to play a British soldier (name him and the role)

Re: What actor/actress comes to mind?
So are we limiting this to just some guy who played a banker in a British movie here then, Swithin?
(...I mean of course, could this banker be in an American movie that was filmed in color?)
