Yep. That music takes me right back to high school dances. All the girls danced with their top teeth sticking out over their lower lips. We called it "being beavers".
Re: Music Video Jukebox - A Thread for Music Videos Only
Heh. Well, in high school we used to have a connotation of beavers to girls that had nothing to do with teeth.

I guess I'm a lot older than you. We didn't call that part a beaver when I was in high school - that term came much later.
In those days we called it a ****, a twat, or a snatch.
Although I heard the women in my family call it a bird a couple of times. Never understood that one.

Really, it may have came late in your neck of the woods as "Beaver" being slang for female genitalia goes back to the 1920's. And I sincerely doubt you're older than that.
I don't really mean to turn this into a thread about reproductive organ slang etymology, but speaking of odd(and I never heard the word "bird" used and think it odd too) I remember back when I hired into Cadillac(1971) several black guys used to refer to the female genitalia with the word "cock". Which made absolutely NO sense to me. And from what I can gather, "cookie" is the newer term these days. And the other three you mentioned are old hat 'round these parts too.
Maybe you're older. I don't know. I'll be 72 this coming July.
