Yes, Lara Parker, Dark Shadow's Angelique has passed. Well we will see a lot of her this months since multiple stations are showing the Dark Shadow movies.

I was a Lost In Space fan.
For me as a kid, all the episodes were B/W.
Dark Shadows was too spooky.
I believe it came on after Grandma's favorite soap, General Hospital.

I watch Lost In Space reruns every week on METV (except this month) and the last episode they showed was the one eyed giant! That show is one of my earliest TV memories, originally and yes in b&w (we didn't get color TV until 1970). We also ran home from school to see Dark Shadows which came on at 4pm.

Watched it some time ago on The Roku Channel and lost interest when season two was in color.
It was like the story line became less important than the color production.
General Hospital was from 3-4 in the afternoon, then Dark Shadows on ABC.
I only watched in the Summer with Grandma as I could not rush home from school on the big yellow bus. School was ten miles away and very uphill coming home.
Good Old, “grind it till you find it,” Clutch Kinder, the bus driver, had to use “Granny Low” to make it to the top of the Oakville Grade.
He had to back up the bus on the outskirts of St. Helena,CA., on Whitehall Lane.
As a kid, I could swear he was 100 years old.
The roads were narrow and he would often enough ruin a side-view mirror on the right side.
I love that I grew up when I did.
We had a Zenith TV with tubes inside.
Also had an aerial (TV antenna).
Mom was employed in CATV (Cable Television) starting in 1967.
We eventually got a better antenna with an amplifier and a new but smaller color TV.

My wife and I were watching episodes on Amazon Prime, but apparently Hulu is now showing it instead. Maybe just as well. Frankly, the story lines were never good. It seems as if every episode featured Dr. Smith doing something incredibly stupid/evil/unhinged which ultimately put everyone's life in danger, and yet, at the end, he was forgiven, and allowed to do the same crap in the next episode. Even as a kid I realized these people were crazy for putting up with this. Any normal group of explorers would have cut him loose, at the very least.

Yep. I tired very quickly of this show as a kid because of the idiotic Dr. Smith. I thought it was a dumb show!
