'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' (saw it as an 11 y/o kid at the Hollywood Cinerama Dome and remember laughing hysterically throughout...fast forward about a dozen years or so and while watching it on TV, I maybe LOL-ed three or four times...funny though, during a more recent showing of it on TCM, I caught myself LOL-ing about a dozen times)

Next: a drama with a twist ending that comes out of nowhere

Yes, Chandler. I didn't think I had to clarify, a pretty famous role for us experts here.

Current clue (by Dargo) a drama with a twist ending that comes out of nowhere

With respect, Too Sp. imho, there is no room for anything to come to mind, unless you have to think,...then it's a trivia question :(

Sorry Laffite, I will change the clue, although there are many movies that fit, including horror movies related to the Necronomicon and other books. Even the musical Pal Joey, in the song "Zip," has the lyric "I have read the great Kabbalah..." So dozens of choices for those and other books.

But here's a new clue:

A magic spell
