An Italian film available on YouTube. It is an adaptation of books 5 and 6 of the Odyssey of Homer. The ones with Calypso and Nausicaa. This explores a different aspect to the character on his voyage home. He struggles with ptsd from the Trojan war and is more into Calypso than in the book where he yearns for Penelope and only begrudgingly is forced into Calypso’s arms. It is a really neat film and done in a nonsense gibberish language intended to sound like Homeric Greek. It is age restricted for nudity and graphic violence. If you search “Franco Piavoli Il Ritorno Nostos” you will find it. I highly recommend it.
