One of my top ten films, Aunt Catherine had many of the funniest lines. When she talked about her daughter in law- "She's a witch, that one! You know what she did to me yesterday, she gimme the evil eye!"Bronxgirl48 wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2024, 6:42 pm MARTY tonight.

"Aw, the Giants are gonna be in the cellar! In the cellar!"
"Hey Lou, turn on the Dodger game"
And this was just two years before both the Giants and the Dodgers left for California.

Yea, the Giants and Dodgers have always been one of sports best rivalries, going all the way back to those NY days.

A devout Catholic. The worst kind. (I should know, I grew up as one!) Considering his last name it would be funny if he turned out to be a closet case!kingrat wrote: ↑May 23rd, 2024, 11:27 amYou mean no one with hair that good could be straight?HoldenIsHere wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2024, 9:34 pmOne who is "straight" supposedly, but I'm not convinced.jamesjazzguitar wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2024, 6:58 pm

Yeah. I guess they'll just have to wait seven years for the Mets.Detective Jim McLeod wrote: ↑May 23rd, 2024, 10:14 am

The Yankees may have taken two, but they lost the '55 World Series to
the Dodgers, the only time the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the Yanks in the
World Series.

I always felt sorry for Marty. Every time he wanted to talk to Tommy about
buying the butcher shop someone or something interrupted their conversation.

I don't like Tommy. Surly and self-absorbed. Virginia could have done better.
