TCM has posted a partial schedule for July, 2024.
In honor of her centennial birthday on July 4,
Eva Marie Saint is Star of the Month, her first time.

I notice that Blanche Fury is a premiere. I'll be glad to see that again. The salute to Constance Ford includes a number of enjoyable not-so-great movies, especially Claudette Inglish, where she plays a white trash mama going after her daughter's boyfriend, Claude Akins!

American Graffiti again and on the 4th. I'm not complaining, just saying. I suppose it bumped 1776.
A lot of Ginger Rogers on her birthday. Not complaining there either.
Many times I don't recognize a movie by the title or even the description.
I'm never upset to see The Long, Long Trailer.
Some nice musicals and Doris Day.
Seems like an abundance of surfing movies and or documentaries.

Yes, that's the 1972 one she did with Bob Hope, I never saw it but heard it was a disaster.

However she also worked with Hope on the 1956 film That Certain Feeling. In Leonard Maltin's movie guide he gave it a BOMB rating, another movie guide book (by film historian Steven Scheuer) gave it 3 1/2 stars. I would really like to see this one.

That Certain Feeling isn't the best Hope vehicle, but its a good one, far better than Maltin's bomb rating.

When TCM first posts their schedule, they tend to not list the films they are leasing from other studios, so these become the TBA titles. For example, we all know they will be including On the Waterfront for Eva Marie Saint's Star of the Month, but it is a Columbia title so it is currently not shown. I'm not exactly sure why they do this - perhaps they have a contractual reason for not 'advertising' these titles a certain number of days prior to showing them, when it is possible that the films could be seen elsewhere. When TCM chose to do 'Fox Stars' as their Star of the Month, not a single Star of the Month title was listed in the initial schedule! It is usually sometime during the next month when the remaining titles are added to the web schedule.
