So far, April in New York is true to form, and we've had lots of rain already. There was plenty of thunder, too, this afternoon, and there will probably be more later on. Made me think of the lovely recent Indian movie Lagaan, and its musical sequence showing the joys rain can bring:

Mrs. Dewey may I compliment you on your excellent taste in music. I love Manu Chao -- thank you!!

I heard Manu for the first time several years back on a french radio station over iTunes, totally grooving on the way he slides between spanish, french, and english -- as I often do within my own mind. :D :D
