I must add that I cannot understand how people like Maltin (in his book) have given such low ratings to "Bluebeard's Eighth Wife" (1938), which I found great and "Angel", which I found good and have given almost 4 stars to "That Uncertain Feeling" (1941). It does not make sense. Before watching BB8thWife I had been led to believe that it was a flop!

Yup, I don't understand the animosity towards Bluebeard's Eighth Wife, I think it's among his funniest films. It seems it only gets mentioned for the "meet-cute" but it's got a ton of great bits, from David Niven getting punched out, Coop's attempts to become wordly, Claudette getting spanked, and Coop in a straight jacket. It's a wonderful film, that really needs a Region 1 release.
