Cook County Property Taxes

Today I received my second installment bill for Cook County property taxes for the year 2008. Earlier this week local TV interviewed Garfield Park residents, who saw on the average a 46% increase, so I was prepared for a steep increase. My taxes increased not 46%, not 100%, but 700%. Yes 700%, an increase of more than seven fold. Richie Daley & Todd Stroger. Cook County Board President,, are really treasures to behold.

Either we've been carrying you or the shoe (size EEE) will drop on us in 2010.
