Re: YOU Tube'n
Hey, Nancy,
What a beautiful place you live! This sort of thing really makes me wish I could drive across country just once to see more of the nation.
I'd forgotten that Hallmark Cards was based in KC. Have you read David Ellis Dickerson's House of Cards? I realize that some people regarded it as a bit caustic in its depiction of the company, but after I read it, I thought the author envied the largely decent people who dedicated themselves to an impossible job: translating sentiment into a tangible, acceptable form for those of us who are sometimes inarticulate about our feelings.

Wendy, slap my old grey muzzle if I'm speakin' outta turn, here, but IMHO the best cure for you would be to get further up into Real Old-Time New England.
Heck, visit us up heah in Vermont, where Mud Season's just abornin' - watch staunch old Hill Yankees excavate marble out of centuries-old quarries, tend swarming herds of Holstein milkers, boil thousands of gallons of hard-won maple sap, and pinch a nickel til Jefferson cries, all the while lunchin' on Moxie & cold kidney-bean sandwiches.
IT'S LIKE DISNEYWORLD WITHOUT THE TAN !

I have had an open invitation to the "strolling of the heifers" in Brattleboro for several years now.... I think we may actually go this year.
Ah... good times.

Ah but lacking the music to go with it, it just isn't the same... I'll save it though for a day when I need to do a happy dance.
Re: YOU Tube'n
Just saw this, the young acrobats are simply amazing. I couldn't even get on this thing!

Isn't it hilarious? My dad sent it to me, and he NEVER does that. Maybe he's trying to tell me that I blow my nose too loud.
