AM and Barbara Stanwyck arm-in-arm at the Hollywood premiere of The Goldwyn Follies, 28 January 1938. That's Robert Taylor on the left. Not sure what would have brought AM to Hollywood at this time, as she was working primarily in radio in New York in the 30s, though her radio colleague Phil Baker was in the cast.
I don't believe that is Agnes in that particular photo. I saw that someone had replied on FB with the same opinion. I agree with him that I thought by this time her hair had grown long. Regardless of the hair length, I don't believe it's her. Just my opinion. It's still a great photo.
Theresa, my niece Annie was crazy about Troy Donahue. In the 1960s she won a contest along with other girls to have Thanksgiving dinner with him. She had a swell time and still has memorabilia from the event.
I so wish TCM would grab Dick Bakalyan as a guest programmer and he'd reveal his favorite teenage punk JD movies.
