I remember Joanna Barnes in "Spartacus" when she "picked out" Woody Strode when "shopping" with Nina Foch.

Hi,

Seeing a picture of Anderson Lawler has had me thinking all evening about so many stories remembered and not for print....
It's true about Gary and him and there's a famous tale about the two of them and Lupe Valez that cannot be written here; it's too dirty...

I can tell you that he once had a gentleman friend called Amos Frond and that they came to parties as 'Amos and Andy'.......

Doesn't Ann Warner look like her daughter, Joy Page? I wonder if she spoke Russian to Vera Matzouki? Ann & Nell often spoke Russian to each other and drove everyone crazy wondering who they were dissing!!!

Larry, sounds like Anderson was quite a rascal, although it seems they all had a good time.

Oh, Larry, you scamp. If anyone is interested in more about Andy Lawler, he is profiled extensively in Patrick McGilligan's excellent George Cukor: A Double Life: A Biography of the Gentleman Director. Lawler appears to have been a constant figure in Cukor's ever-changing circle of friends over the decades.

I have never, ever seen this photograph in my life ... Joe ... I would love to own a copy of this picture ... Joe and everyone else ... Rita loves to collect records and loved Jazz, Classical Music, and assorted other tunes as well. This is unique too!

One more thing, I did not know that Lauren Hutton is that young ... I thought she would be in her mid-70's by now ... but not 69!
