George Burns ... I missed his laughs and I wished someday that TCM do a day of him ... he is one of my favorites.
Re: *CANDIDS*
I didn't realise Colin Clive was so young when he appeared as Jean Arthur's jealous husband in HISTORY IS MADE AT NIGHT. He looked so much older - he did in fact die only a few months after completing this film.
Re: *CANDIDS*
Vienna, Colin Clive died at age 37 of pneumonia, as a result of a long history of alcoholism.

Kingrat, Ann Wedgewood is a wonderful actress. Loved her in "Sweet Dreams" and "Steel Magnolias"
I couldn't find a decent picture of her. Happy Birthday to dear Ann.

Ann Wedgewood gave a memorable performance as the unbalanced Mayo Methot in the 1980 telefilm "Bogie", which just happened to be directed by Vincent Sherman

Re: *CANDIDS*
I saw Ann Wedgeworth on Broadway back in the 70s, in a Neil Simon play called "Chapter Two." News article here.
The IBDB lists her year of birth as 1935, while the IMDb has 1934, so perhaps she is 'only' 79 today?
