Film festivals don't exist anywhere near WV, either. I think there are a few theaters in Columbus that show classics now and then (so I've heard), but that's probably the closest venue to my current locale.

My hometown does boast a restored old movie house where concerts and stage shows are held every year, but why they don't also show a film or two besides is something I'll never know and am never likely to find out.

Clemson University is hosting a Hitchcock marathon, and as I'm hoping to be in the area during the 2nd week of October, I might take in their movie scheduled that week.

Knitty,

You can have my front row seat during any Ford movies. But I get it back for GUN CRAZY and the Welles Marathon.

Since you know how I feel about Gun Crazy, this won't be a problem. Welles? we may have to......flip a coin...

Wendy:
We do have a fondue pot.

Nancy:
We can arrange front row seats for all who want them. There is a recliner of sorts that I thought would be the most popular. Carolann will probably stretch out on the floor.

Ok, so far we have "Liberty Valance" and "Gun Crazy" and some Welles films. Other suggestions are welcome. Though this is likely to be a long weekend we need time to do ice cream runs.

Of course L&H. Carolann asked if we could watch "Towed In A Hole." Being the good host I was letting my guests pick some first. There will be L&H.
