I understand that it's a statement about a kind of class differencey existence - working-class blue collar life versus the more academic less grease on the hands as common experience sort of thing.

I just don't quite get where the funny of the meme is.

I am sorry also to have to admit that your not understanding why it is funny makes it all that much more humourous. I must be a very bad person but I am a happy bad person because it makes me chuckle.

Okay - here's my second guess. It has to do with how some people have to negotiate their way through life in a state of chaos - or, if not chaos, exactly, a state of added difficulty - as opposed to those whose life experience is well-ordered for them?

Something tells me that's what's being indicated - in which case I do now see the humor in the meme.

There is a song by Townes Van Zandt, No Deal I think is the title. Anyway, Townes goes to the used car lot to buy a car.
