Okay, tell ya what. Seein' as how you've got me hooked here, I'll now go down the list of Best Actress Oscar winners of the last 60-odd years and see if there's one name who I remember was also married to a noted actor and who's filmography includes a movie with this sort of synopsis.

Ah-HAI I think I've found it...and after checking Simone Signoret's filmography, and who was married to Yves Montand, and who both starred in the french language film about the Soviet incursion into Czechoslovakia titled...wait for it:
