Raabe was best known for his uncredited, 13-second role in the Oscar-winning classic, during which he uttered the famous lines "As coroner, I must aver, I thoroughly examined her. Yay! Three of my most bestest favoritest actors having birthdays on the same day: von Sydow, Morgan and Connors.
And Poncie Ponce! Wow, Joe, you know how to pick 'em. It's a very funny thing, but just about the only memory I have of an actual episode the TV show Hawaiian Eye is one that focused on an adventure of Mr. Ponce (now what was he on the show -- a cabbie?). I remember him crying at some point, and playing the ukulele at the end and singing "For You" to a pretty girl. How odd.
