I'm...okay...just...fine....

As I learned from Dr. Frank Reeves long ago: A weak mind isn't strong enough to hurt itself. Stupidity has saved many a man from going mad.

Thanks to all who participated.

We have had a suggestion of "Favorite Actor" and "Favorite Actress" polls. All suggestions are welcome (as long as Mr. Welles stands a chance).

How about the Great One's alleged son, the wildly underrated and all but forgotten Tim McIntire, seen here
along with Brooklyn's finest, Tim Carey in the 1982 film "Fast Walking." (Details on request!)

"Favorite Timothy Carey Performance"? I like it! Or, "Favorite Prison Movie".

Not only is that performance -- both by Carey and McIntire -- superlative, the cast and director ain't none too shabby.

Well, we have a few months to mull this over.

To those who did not back HH: Remember, It 's not whether you win or lose, but how you place the blame.

In the immortal words of Al Roberts: That's life. Whichever way you turn, Fate sticks out a foot to trip you.... Yes. Fate, or some mysterious force, can put the finger on you or me for no good reason at all.

Foot...finger...it's all the same. And Fate is always to blame.

So, eloquently spoken!

Shoot! I think I missed this vote (I was thinking the poll would be open until Monday, like the previous ones). And I would've voted for Powell, thus making an uneasy tie! Argh. I'm sorry Mr. Powell!

Dear Mr. Moraldo Rubini,

When we see each other in the Spring at the Roxie, you may at that time provide a full explanation. Then...

OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

And no ice cream for you!

I wonder what might have happened if the polls were only open the Tuesday after the first Monday in November from 6 to 6.
