I love Freddy too--but I can't help it if he was naughty.
It would not have occurred to me to examine the picture in that way, but now you mention it, Barbara has a little smirk, and June has a broad grin. But check out the expression on the face of Walter. He looks a bit worried.

On a different note, "Candids" is my favourite part of this forum. Keep up the good work.
Oh, Fossy!! Perhaps Walter Pidgeon was reciting one of his notorious limericks to make the girls smile. :wink:

Yes, feaito, that is a screencap from the DVD of Tomorrow the World. It's an interesting WW II drama, but if it weren't for you-know-whom :wink: I'm sure I would not have purchased it. March and AM are brother and sister. They had a sibling who moved to Germany, married and had a child. When the child is orphaned during the war, March decides to bring their young nephew to the states so he can live with them. Little do they know he has been indoctrinated as a Nazi, and he does his best to cause all sorts of trouble. I think it's worth watching once.

whoa. Talk about an unflattering picture. I'm sure she is still lovely, but that angle is awful. Wonder if she did it on purpose?
that comment was for an awful picture Joe has apparently deleted (thanks, Joe!!!) The one now up is lovely, as I am sure Ms. Moreau still is.

whew. :lol: :lol:

[quote="Vecchiolarry"]Hi,

Alright class - come to order!!
Nancy - take that gum out of your mouth; & Marco - sit up straight; and Joe - pay attention!!
Now class - teacher Vecchio will give the lesson for the day:

Sofa:
a long seat for sitting with raised back and ends. Usually stationery. Persion word.

I know that American English is sometimes different to Australian English. ( Such as dropping the"U " from words ending in "OUR" or putting the dates back to front, etc.). It would seem that Canadian English may also be different. In Australia "Stationery" refers to paper, pens, pencils, etc. and Persion does not exist. Perhaps it means Persian in Australia.
