Rand Hobart was played by Brian Wilde in "Curse Of The Demon" (1957). Mr. Millstone, one might argue if Rand Hobart is really a classic character in a classic film as this thread suggests. I think that in order to move the thread along, perhaps we should reference somewhat less obscure characters. Perhaps others will agree with me.

Here's a hint: Og Oggilby was a character in a W.C. Fields movie that was recently shown on TCM.

Hint: Carrie Pipperidge was a character in a fifties movie that was an adaptation of a forties Broadway musical.

Hint: This character is portrayed by the same actor in two movies. The first a heavily re-edited American version of a 1950s foreign film. The second a heavily re-edited American version of a 1980s foreign film. The second does not qualify as a classic.
