Miss Goddess MIA or on vacation?

Post by moira finnie »

Does anyone know where one of our most entertaining posters here, and on TCM, Miss Goddess might have wandered away to of late?

She last posted here and on the ol' board around June 2nd-4th, so I'm hoping that she's off in Montana or Paris or Timbuktu, mai-tai in hand and nothing much on her lively mind, getting some rest & recreation. Either that, or she's fed up with all message boards. Or she has computer trouble. Or she's in the running for the V.P. stakes. I just hope she's okay.

I've heard from a good friend of MissG's that she is indeed on vacation, gallivanting around the Continent, if Frankie Grimes can be trusted.

Her vacation ends on Thursday so she'll probably be back with us by the weekend!

Too bad she missed The Oscar.

I believe she's on a Grand Tour of Italy (and perhaps Greece) with mother in tow. As I recall, she posted a fond (temporary) farewell at SSO in the "Vacation" thread.

Quick, now, let's bash Gary Cooper and John Ford.

Gary Cooper: Can't string together multiple syllables to save his life

John Ford: A drunk, crotchety old man who is only known by younger folks today for directing another drunk blowhard in John Wayne.

Is that bashing enough? :)

She mentioned here in the Noir voting she would be gone while that was going on but left no hint of when she would return.

Whew--glad to hear she's okay! I must've looked through those "I'm going on vacation" memos she sent out a bit too quickly. Either that, or I figured she was off woolgathering (what some cynics confuse with spamming) about Gary Cooper in another thread somewhere.

Thanks very much for the update.
