Stars gather in Washington D.C. in 1947 at the HUAC hearings
in support of their condemned comrades
John Garfield, Paul Henreid and Lauren Bacall
June Havoc, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Claire Trevor?
John Huston, Glenn Ford?, Bogart and Danny Kaye

Re: *CANDIDS*
Thank you for the pics of the HUAC committee and the stars that went to protest, history hasn't always been kind to these personalities, saying they were misguided or trouble makers but most of these guys had cushy lives at their studios earning good incomes, it does take some guts to threaten that life even if some think it's misguided, it's still a bit brave and they should be a little bit proud of themselves.

Thanks Joe. I kept staring at him, trying to figure out whether it was Lloyd or not.
I never knew Tommy Farrell was Glenda's son.

Re: *CANDIDS*
He is a very likable man, I met him back in 1980 - I think at a Comic Book Store promoting Superman II starring Christopher Reeve. I tried to get his autograph but his agent advises him not to; due to ethics dealing with the promotion of Superman II.mongoII wrote:HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I even get to talk to him for 3-5 minutes because the Store wasn't even crowded and everyone had a great time with him.

I'm pretty sure that's Norma Shearer, Mongo but it's a close call.mongoII wrote:
