Capucine . . {s i g h} . .
I think of her as "the Phaser", 'cause she was a killer babe, who never did less than stun !

Hi,

There are some of us here and at TCM's board who are hoping to get Louis Jourdan to attend the Festival in April.
I think it would be grand to have him and Joan Fontaine introduce "A Letter from an Unknown Woman".

I think that;s Max Baer.

Rudyfan, it's possible its Baer, although both of my sources indicate it's Dempsey. It wouldn't be the first time they erred.

Larry, that would be grand to snatch Jourdan and Fontaine for the festival.

What a great bunch born on this day!
I can't say who had the bigger challenge: Terry, fighting commie spies out there on 101, or Vincent, squaring off against an out-of-patience Olympia Dukakis in Moonstruck!

Who is Kerwin Mathews - he's gorgeous! Does he look like that all the time? What movies was he in?

Wendy, Mathews is best remembered for his roles in adventure and fantasy films like The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), The 3 Worlds of Gulliver (1960), Jack the Giant Killer (1962) and Battle Beneath the Earth (1967). Some of which were on TCM.
Kerwin died overnight in his sleep at age 81 in his San Francisco home, survived by his partner of 46 years Tom Nicoll.

Thanks mongo. I think I've seen the Gulliver movie before....back when adventure movies showed up on Saturday afternoons. Shucks, long time partner - that rules me out. He was a cutie though!
