Re: Someone's having a birthday!
My question: Why does it seem Billy's 'A Foreign Affair' seldom gets mentioned whenever his canon of films is brought up?
(...personally, I think the film is as good as any of 'em)

Thank you!jimimac71 wrote: ↑June 22nd, 2023, 11:06 am Happy Birthday speedracer5!
I believe you are the same age as Jack Benny (39).
Here are some you share the day with:

(They include those no longer alive. They don't show death years anymore)

Thank you! It was a good birthday. My husband got me "Harvey" on blu ray and a Lucy-Ethel set of dolls to go with the rest of my I Love Lucy Barbie collection!Stevomachino wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2023, 1:08 pm Happy belated birthday Speedy! Hope it was a great one!

Every time I see his face, I'm reminded of the places...
Well actually, I'm reminded of how cool and likable Ringo has always seemed.
(...Happy Birthday, ol' boy!)

Not the original, but in my opinion, the better version:

Re: Someone's having a birthday!
I just came across the Carrie Fisher version (1978) which I thought was adorable...
MrTiki found it creepy thinking she was 16 (she was 22 he was 38)
That Ringo, he's so talented most don't see it, just seems natural. He sure is a good guy.
Re: Someone's having a birthday!
I enjoyed the video. Not creepy but I did laugh a lot.
I was not a Carrie Fisher fan from Star Wars.
More respectful of her efforts toward the end.
I'm a fan of the earliest Beatles.
Paul and Ringo are more enjoyable to me as solo artists.

Let's all have a martini in his honor-
Hope you have a fun day...have some cake & cheer up you made it this far!
(and don't forget to tell us what you had for dinner!)
