Love your character thread! I enjoyed Walter Slezak in Lifeboat, among others. He was so entertaining in that film. When I wasn't watching Tallulah or John Hodiak, I was watching him.
Great shot of Noble.

jbd1,
Howard DaSilva was blaclkisted and Luther Adler had his " Hooverite - McCarthyite problems also. Today I received , via UPS, a new book,
" Bobby and J. Edgar ". It deals withe the conflicts between the Kennedys and Hoover. According to the book " Secret Agenda " by Haugan a secret " Watergate " committee reports says the Hoover was murdered by G. Gordon Libby. How many blacklist victims were driven to suicide by Hoover and HUAC ?
